February 2020
Dear Friends,
As we usher in the new decade, I hope this letter finds everyone enjoying a happy and healthy start to 2020!
First, I would like to reiterate how honored I am to be entrusted to serve as President of the New York Association of Independent Adjusters, Inc. during the 2019-2020 term. The new slate of officers was inducted in September 2019 at Turning Stone in Verona, NY at our annual meeting. The event was fun, educational and exciting! Our members and guests not only were able to play golf at one of the finest courses in New York State, the Shenandoah, but also enjoyed some of the most delicious food and spirits New York has to offer. The event was a great success thanks to our members, guests, sponsors and speakers who attended!
I would personally like to again thank Melissa A. Foti Esq. and Lauren M. Miller, Esq. of Kenney Shelton Liptak Nowak, LLP and Roy A, Mura Esq. of Mura & Storm PLLC for their exceptional Continuing Education presentations at Turning Stone.
Our Spring Seminar scheduled for May 7th, 2020 to be held at the Renaissance Albany Hotel located at 144 State Street, Albany, NY. We are pleased to announce our Continuing Education sessions to be conducted by Raymond Shelton Ph.D., F.A.A.E.T.S., Director of Professional Development at National Center for Crisis Management speaking on Stress Management, Lewis R. Silverman of Silverman and Associates NY speaking on Spectator Liability and Premises Liability and Daniel S. Rich, Learning Facilitator, Travelers Claim University of Windsor, CT speaking on Changes & Updates on the Adjusting World, the New Adjuster Generation.
This venue is located in the heart of the Capital District with a magnificent view of our State Capital Building.
We are anxiously looking forward to another successful Spring Seminar and seeing you all in Albany in just a few short months!
Very truly yours,
Kimberlee Blake LaBell
President NYAIAI
